StoryNest is a reading app for children and families. It works without account creation and is designed to keep the experience simple and calm.

What StoryNest stores

• Child profile details created in the app, such as name, birth date, and chosen avatar.
• Story progress, quiz progress, parent settings, and daily usage settings.
• This information is stored locally on the device and used only inside StoryNest.

What StoryNest does not do

• No account sign up is required.
• No ads are shown.
• No third-party analytics or tracking are used.
• No personal data is sold or shared with advertisers.

Microphone and speech recognition

StoryNest can request microphone and speech recognition permission for optional voice quiz answers. These permissions are used only for that interactive feature.

Photos

StoryNest can request photo library access when the app needs to let a family choose images in the app. This access is used only for that on-device action.

Purchases

StoryNest offers a one-time unlock for paid stories. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. StoryNest does not store full payment card details.
